The Royal Marines Shop
The Royal Marines Shop has an extensive range of Royal Marines branded products and is growing a sound reputation for quality goods at competitive prices. The 5-person team designs, develops and fulfills all orders for serving and veteran Royal Marines, their families and civilians.
The Shop is based in Stonehouse Barracks and makes an annual donation into the Royal Marines Association to support their work in looking after the veterans and their families. There is much left to do with the aftermath of operations in Afghanistan.
Since Afghanistan the Association has been instrumental in providing both welfare and mental health support to both veterans and their families as conflict can often affect the health of them too. This year will see the amalgamation of the Association into the Royal Marines Charity where the profits can be used for those still in service.
“Amarisk have been instrumental in helping the RM Shop conduct business with all Health and Safety assessments, human resource issues and GDPR changes in a professional and up to date manner.“
Charlie Hobson – Director
Amarisk was chosen by the royalmarinesshop.com to support it in terms of HR and employment as the business has grown. Some products are also manufactured on the site and there is a storage facility, which required Amarisk to provide a full Health & Safety service.
Brigadier Charlie Hobson, Director, said: “Amarisk have been instrumental in helping the RM Shop conduct business with all Health and Safety assessments, human resource issues and GDPR changes in a professional and up to date manner. They have been brilliant in helping us recruit and induct new staff as well as always being available immediately for advice on any subject. We would not be a thriving small on-line commercial business without Amarisk.”
